Arrival at car-free Zermatt

If you are spending your holidays in the Chalet Sonnegg, we recommend you to take an electric taxi when you arrive in Zermatt. It's tiring to walk with luggage, as the last 200 meters of the path are very steep and pass over the tracks of the Gornergratbahn. Without luggage, it's not a problem.


The house Granit, with the two holiday apartments Riffelberg and Schwarzsee, can be reached via Getwingstrasse in 2 minutes on foot. If you take an electric taxi, get yourself taken to point A in the Untere Mattenstrasse: Click here to see

 

Arrival at the apartment

On the day of arrival the apartment is ready for you from approx. from 3 p.m.. The key is in the safe next to the door. The code will be given to you before your arrival. The apartment is furnished ready for occupation. Please make sure that all keys are on the key board when you return home.

  • Chalet Sonnegg: The apartment is on the top floor.
  • Riffelberg: The apartment is on the 5th floor in house Granit, a lift takes you upstairs (Lift button A).
  • Schwarzsee: The apartment is on the 6th floor in house Granit, the lift takes you to the 5th floor (Lift button A) and then a staircase takes you to the 6th floor.

 

Our apartments are completely furnished:

  • bed linen / bath towels / kitchen towels
  • Dishwashing liquid, tabs, hand soap, kitchen paper, toilet paper
  • garbage bags (please bring to the official collection points)
  • hairdrier
  • Nespresso machine incl. 30 free capsules (additional capsules at cost price)
  • 2 Fondue sets (cheese fondue and fondue chinoise)
  • TV, Internet, WLAN (password etc. in the information folder in the apartment)
  • Washing machine and tumble dryer on the ground floor (coin-operated machine)

 

Quality Card Zermatt

As a member of the "Zermatt Apartment Verein - ZAV" we can offer you various activities at special conditions: See here.  We will send you your voucher before your arrival or put it in the holiday apartment.

 

Wolli Card - for children up to 9 years old

With the Wolli Card, children can travel free of charge all year round on all mountain railways, take part in events and have a lot of fun. You must book the Wollicard online.

 

Purchase before arrival

If you are visiting us, you can place an order at www.coop.ch or www.shop.migros.ch. Enter your holiday flat as the delivery address (see below) and your arrival date as the delivery date. Coop and Migros will deposit the groceries for you in the entrance area of the house.

Beverage delivery

From an order value of CHF 150 or more, Getränke Welschen delivers your order free of charge. Send us the completed form 3 days before your arrival.
